Summary
of OutinG:
How did everyone find yesterday's party?? Not the usual happenings... strange
leh, no mahjong, only sit around watch TV and talk. some people played
cards... half the people all ciao very early, ie Cheeling, Teresa and some
other gals...Jingrong also did not turn up becos he was orgainising some BBQ for
his Combat Engineers company. So sianz. Nver mind hopefully when we meet again,
it wd be more fruitful, and at least we can meet up with everyone else again.
But i would say the food was great... Ron, keep it up, u should orgainise more
parties... then all of us would save lotsa money on food.
Summary of OutinG: Today was Yishin's birthday. We decided to have dinner somewhere near Dhoby Ghaut becos we had intended to spend the nite after dinner playing pool. We had dinner at B.Boss at Istana Park. Food was okie... Jingrong came after we all had finished dinner...think he had a hard time looking for the place, running around looking for the place on the wrong side of the road, when we had specifically told him to use the underpass. We went to Parklane American Pool to play after dinner. After lotsa pool games, till around 11.30pm, we had a birthday cake for Yishin, and gave her all our presents. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YISHIN!! Yishin had amazing birthday luck during the pool games and managed at some points in time to hit a winning streak. Cool!! We also ran into Teck Loon... haven't seen him for a long time, so it was good to bump into him. The activities ended at around 12 plus... then we all took cabs home while pam and yishin had someone to chauffer them home...

Sep Steamboat Dinner @ Huimin's house......It was the usual steamboat dinner.
sitting around the table and eating and just toking. Hmm, amazingly, quite a few
people came late, Yishin, Shouxin, Hongwei and a few others came late and dinner
had alreadie ended. But it was quite nice to meet everyone again. Hope our
next outing will be better.
Summary of OutinG: Well, today was quite fun. We had the opportunity of seeing Yee Shin take part in a real pageant. Even though it was just on a small scale, i'm sure Yee Shin had lots of fun preparing for it. It sure must have been tough coping with the first few weeks in university as well as rehearsing for the pageant. Hmm... wat can i say, she looked great. It's little wonder she won the prize for Miss Photogenic. Keep up the good work...hehe...stay smart and beautiful !! Anyway, all of us were supposed to meet at 7pm at the hotel lobby. In the end, due to some miscommunication, some met at the hotel lobby, while most of the gals met at Somerset MRT Station. Anyway, when we got our tickets, which we paid for at $48, we learnt tat tickets were goin' for half price cos' there were leftover unsold tickets. Well, there goes our money, but it was worth spending tat amount of money to support a fren... and especially a very good one. On the whole, i think the dinner show was average compared to our SDD. The only interesting parts were the pageant show itself. But i must say the food was quite good. After the dinner, we took some photos. (Hey, Yishin, Pam or any NTU Hall 8 people, where are the photos?? I knoe there was one dinner table photograph, but do u have to buy the photos? If so, please get one for us, then it can be put on our homepage, THANX)>>>>> "THANKS YEE SHIN.... i got the picture from you liao.... It's displayed above!!!" Quite professional rite...Take a look at the poster on the NTU Hall 8 D&D Homepage at http://www.ntu.edu.sg/studorgn/h8jcrc/d&d. After the photo-taking, i think it was almost 12am. So most of us said our good-byes and congratulations to Miss Photogenic... YEEE SHINN (Remember how the MC pronounced her name!!) She was the only gal to receive the most flowers.. WOW!! Well done Yee Shin. Then we made our way home via the taxi-stand... yes and of cos' had to pay midnight surcharge. But overall, it was a happy and enjoyable nite for all of us. So, people, when's the next dinner?? Till we next meet, cheerio!!
